Hop Shed Brewery

Hop Shed Brewery began in 2012 when founder Rob Bough started brewing in a 15 m² shed. As demand grew, the brewery moved to Stora Hästnäs, Visby, in 2015, expanding to 65 m² and increasing annual production from 3,000 to 25,000 liters. New co-owners Simon Svennefjörd, Jesper Sahlsten, and Erik Engström joined during this phase, each contributing to the brewery’s development.

The team gained attention with Sweden’s early beer bus tours and participation in national festivals, eventually launching their own beer festival in 2017. By 2019, they opened a full-scale Brew Pub featuring craft beer, food, and a beer garden—creating a complete visitor experience.

The brewery now has five products at Systembolaget, is served at over 20 venues, and continues to release experimental batches.
